“Love remembers the light even while it is healing from the dark.”
A Page From Us
An apology stitched between our favorite moments
When I think about us, I do not first remember the mistake. I remember the warmth. I remember the way your laughter softened my entire day. I remember the quiet, ordinary moments that somehow became the most beautiful part of my life because you were there.
That is why this hurts so much. Because I know I brought pain into something precious. I know I created a memory neither of us ever wanted, and I am deeply sorry for that. You deserved care. You deserved reassurance. You deserved to feel chosen in the gentlest way.
I cannot ask you to forget the hurt, but I hope you can also remember the truth of my love. It is still here. It is still learning. And it is sorry enough to change.
